Best-of list · by use case
Most startups buy SEO tools in the wrong order: a big suite first, then no time to use it. The order that worked for us on Versely, our own product, was free foundations first (Search Console, a crawler), then publishing steadily, then paying for research once we knew what we were missing.
This list follows that order. Prices are from each vendor's own site, at the time of writing (September 2026). We make one product listed here, and it's labelled.

SE Ranking, Moz and Semrush prices and limits were read again on their pricing pages on 5 November 2026. SE Ranking now lists 25 AI prompts a day on Core, where it listed 100; Moz Standard lists 150 tracked prompts, checked weekly.
