Launch guides · 35 product types

How to launch any kind of product

A Chrome extension, an iOS app and a newsletter don't launch the same way. Each guide covers one product type: where its users actually find new products, the assets its store asks for (sizes and limits taken from the platform's own docs), review times as the platform states them, a 4-week timeline, a launch-day checklist, the SEO work that keeps people finding you, and common mistakes.

How we wrote these

Every size, limit, fee and review time on these pages comes from the platform's own documentation, which we opened on September 23, 2026 and link on each page. Where a platform doesn't publish a number (JetBrains and Shopify don't state review times, for example), we say so instead of guessing. Platforms change their rules, so check the linked source before you rely on a number.

Need the words, not just the plan? Every guide links to copy-paste launch templates: Show HN post, launch thread, waitlist email, store descriptions and more. Ready to list your product? Browse directories or directories by niche.
