How to launch a Figma plugin
Figma plugins publish to the Figma Community after a review whose length Figma says varies with volume. Designers choose plugins visually, so the cover image and carousel do most of the selling. Two rules shape the product: declare network access honestly, and don't rebuild features Figma already has. If you plan to charge, decide before publishing, because a paid plugin can't later become free.

Store and listing rules
What the platform itself says, with a link to the page we checked.
- Plugins with obvious bugs, placeholder content, misleading descriptions or ads are rejected.[2]
- Plugins that recreate core Figma features, bypass paid offerings, or duplicate your own earlier plugins are rejected; so are AI plugins overlapping Figma's native AI.[2]
- You must declare network access, and disclose external accounts or payments up front.[2]
- Paid plugins: minimum $2 (whole dollars), one-time or monthly; subscription price can rise at most 50% every 30 days; once paid, it can't become free.[1]
