Submit to Aptoide

An independent Android app store with its own catalogue of apps and games. Each app has a public web page with a download button and developer details. Makers publish through Aptoide Connect, which can pull a free app's files from Google Play and can send the same submission to a network of partner stores. Its editors fill banners and Editor's Choice slots.

How to submit to Aptoide

  1. Open the Aptoide submission page

This is the page makers use to add a product.

  2. Create an account

Aptoide asks you to sign up before you can submit.

  3. Have your assets ready

Name, tagline, description, logo and screenshots. The checklist below covers what to prepare so you can fill the form in one go.

  4. Fill in the form carefully

Pick the most specific category the form offers and write the description for the people who browse Aptoide (Android users who install apps outside Google Play, and developers who want one build in several stores), not for search engines.

  5. Wait for review

A person reviews submissions, so it can take a while. Once it’s live, check the link on your listing points to the right page.

Tips for Aptoide

  • If your app is already on Google Play and has no in-app purchases, Aptoide Connect fetches the metadata and files from Google Play and syncs later updates within 24 hours.
  • Register with the same email as your Google Play support email and ownership is verified automatically; with another email you confirm through a time-limited link.
  • Plan for 7 to 10 business days of manual review; the FAQ says to contact support if nothing has happened after 14 business days.
  • Register your package name under Google's Android developer verification yourself; Aptoide's docs say it cannot do that for you.

What to prepare

The basics every directory asks for, plus what matters most for mobile app directories.

  • Product name and a one-line tagline (about 60 characters)
  • A short description (1–2 sentences) and a longer one (a short paragraph)
  • Square logo, at least 256×256 px, PNG or SVG
  • 2–3 screenshots at a consistent size
  • The exact page you want the link to point to
  • Pricing model (free, freemium or paid) and a contact email
  • App Store and Google Play links (the public listing, not a TestFlight link)
  • Phone-sized screenshots in the store’s aspect ratio, plus an app icon at 1024×1024 px
  • Price, in-app purchases and subscription terms, stated plainly
  • Promo codes for reviewers, if it’s a paid app

Is Aptoide worth it?

Good for discovery, not link equity

Links from Aptoide listings carry rel="nofollow", so they pass little or no ranking value. Submit if its audience matches yours: the value is visitors and being findable where people browse.

  • No Tranco rank on record, so we can’t say how much traffic it gets.
  • A person reviews submissions, so expect a wait and a real quality bar.
  • There’s a free option. Start free and only pay for upgrades if the traffic justifies it.

This verdict is worked out from the facts above with fixed rules (link type, review, price, Tranco rank), not paid for. The directory has no say in it.
