Submit to AppPriceData

An independent tracker of App Store prices, rankings and promotions. Developers can submit an App Store link to its 'Free now' list of limited-time free apps and lifetime in-app deals, which it checks against Apple's current price straight away, and a public TestFlight link to its TestFlight board, which only shows invitations that Apple lists as active.

How to submit to AppPriceData

  1. Open the AppPriceData submission page

This is the page makers use to add a product.

  2. Have your assets ready

Name, tagline, description, logo and screenshots. The checklist below covers what to prepare so you can fill the form in one go.

  3. Fill in the form carefully

Pick the most specific category the form offers and write the description for the people who browse AppPriceData (iPhone and iPad users looking for free app deals and public TestFlight betas), not for search engines.

  4. Check your listing

Listings go live without review. Open yours, check the details and check the link points to the right page.

Tips for AppPriceData

  • 'Free now' takes an app name and App Store link; the page says the current Apple price is checked immediately, so submit once the promotion is live.
  • TestFlight board: a form takes an app name and public link. The page says full, ended or closed links are hidden automatically, and the methodology page says links are checked against Apple's invitation page, so keep tester slots open.
  • The Terms say not to submit deceptive or knowingly false promotion or TestFlight information; list only live offers.

What to prepare

The basics every directory asks for, plus what matters most for mobile app directories.

  • Product name and a one-line tagline (about 60 characters)
  • A short description (1–2 sentences) and a longer one (a short paragraph)
  • Square logo, at least 256×256 px, PNG or SVG
  • 2–3 screenshots at a consistent size
  • The exact page you want the link to point to
  • Pricing model (free, freemium or paid) and a contact email
  • App Store and Google Play links (the public listing, not a TestFlight link)
  • Phone-sized screenshots in the store’s aspect ratio, plus an app icon at 1024×1024 px
  • Price, in-app purchases and subscription terms, stated plainly
  • Promo codes for reviewers, if it’s a paid app

Is AppPriceData worth it?

A followed link, with a low bar

The listing link we inspected was followed, but listings go live without human review. Directories that accept everyone tend to carry less weight, so treat it as a small plus, not a priority.

  • Domain Rating by Ahrefs: 0 (very low). That's the strength of links to the whole site, not a promise about what your listing passes on.
  • No Tranco rank on record, so we can’t say how much traffic it gets.
  • Listings are published without human review.
  • Free to list, so the only cost is your time.

This verdict is worked out from the facts above with fixed rules (link type, review, price, Domain Rating by Ahrefs, Tranco rank), not paid for. The directory has no say in it.
