Where to submit an iOS app: 6 directories
iOS app directories and review sites are where people read about apps before opening the App Store, and where the App Store’s own search can’t help a new app. Some are editorial and pick a handful of apps each week; others take submissions from any developer. Both want a live App Store link, not a TestFlight build. Editors reviewing iPhone apps look at design first, so screenshots in the correct device sizes matter. Being clear about price matters too: say whether the app is free, paid, or free with a subscription, and what the subscription costs. For paid apps, many review sites ask for a way to try the full version for free, such as a redeemable code. If the app also runs on iPad or Mac, say so; some sites list those separately.

Questions about this list
Can I submit an app that is still in TestFlight?
Most app directories and review sites only list apps that are live in the App Store. A few pre-launch lists accept beta apps. Submit to review sites after release, when a reader can install it from the link.
Should I give reviewers free access?
For paid apps or apps with a paid in-app upgrade, yes. Reviewers rarely pay to test an app. Offer a code or free access in the submission form or first email, and only to sites that actually publish reviews.
What screenshots do iOS app sites want?
The same ones as your App Store page, at the current iPhone size, plus iPad if you support it. Several sites also take a short preview video. Keep text on screenshots short and readable at small sizes.
Which of these directories give a dofollow link?
3 of the 6 had a followed (dofollow) listing link when we checked: F-Droid, Google Play Store, Samsung Galaxy Store. Directories change their link policy, so check your own listing once it is live.
