Where to submit an AI coding tool: 132 directories

AI coding tools can list in two places: AI directories, where visitors browse by task, and developer tool directories, where engineers look for something to add to their stack. The second group is harder to impress and more valuable. Developers want the install step, the editors or languages you support, where code is sent and whether it is stored or used for training. Put those facts in the listing, not behind a sign-up. Benchmarks help only if they are your own and reproducible; developers check. Open-source components, a public changelog and a GitHub repo raise trust in both groups of directories. If your tool runs locally or can use a self-hosted model, say so in the first line, because privacy is often the deciding question for teams.

Questions about this list

What do developers look for in an AI coding tool listing?

Supported editors and languages, how to install it, pricing per seat, and where code goes: is it sent to a third-party model, stored, or used for training? Answer these in the listing or link to a page that does.

Should I list in AI directories or developer directories?

Both, but put more effort into developer directories. Their visitors are the actual users. AI directories bring broader, less technical traffic that may not convert for a tool that needs an IDE.

Can I use benchmark results in my listing?

Only numbers you measured and can show how you measured. Link to the method. Vague “10x faster” claims are ignored by developers and can get a listing rejected on manually reviewed sites.

Which of these directories give a dofollow link?
