How to use it
- Write what you want to share with the facts people need: dates, times, places, prices, what’s new. The generator won’t make any of these up, so anything you leave out stays out.
- Pick the goal. It changes how the post ends: a question to start a conversation, the link for a click, the when and where for an event.
- Add a link if the post needs one. It goes in once, near the end, and any other link the model writes is replaced with yours.
- Choose a length and a tone, then edit the draft you like best.
Facebook’s rules for posts
| What | Rule | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Post length | No limit published. Meta's Pages API reference for posts doesn't give one, and neither does its help center. | Facebook Pages API: posts |
| Boosted posts | A boosted post is an ad. Meta recommends 50–150 characters of primary text for Facebook Feed ads. | Meta Ads Guide: Facebook Feed image ads |
| Ad policy | Ads, boosted posts included, must not assert or imply personal attributes such as health, finances, religion or age. | Meta Advertising Standards: personal attributes |

Because Meta sets no length limit for posts, we cap drafts at 2,000 characters, which is far more than a feed post needs. Plan to boost it? Keep it short, and read Meta’s personal attributes rule first: “Are you struggling with debt?” is fine as a Page post and breaks Meta’s ad rules once you boost it.
Writing for the feed
- Lead with the point. Facebook shortens long posts in the feed behind See more. “We’re open on Sundays from 12 October” does the job; “Big news, everyone” makes people click to find out what the news is.
- Let people act without clicking. Put the date, time, place and price in the post itself.
- Ask one question you want answered. “What should we bake first?” gets replies; “Thoughts?” rarely does.
- Tag your link. Run it through the UTM builder so your analytics show which posts sent visitors.
Honest limits
The model writes plausible posts, not tested ones. It doesn’t know your audience, your Page’s history or anything you didn’t type, and it can phrase a detail more confidently than you would. Check every date, time and price against the original before you post.
