Submit to ExtensionHub

A showcase and marketplace for Chrome extensions: each extension gets a page with its description, user count, rating and links to its Web Store page and website, and developers get public profiles that list their extensions. You sign in with Google to create a profile, and the site also has a marketplace for buying extensions.

How to submit to ExtensionHub

  1. Open the ExtensionHub submission page

This is the page makers use to add a product.

  2. Create an account

ExtensionHub asks you to sign up before you can submit.

  3. Have your assets ready

Name, tagline, description, logo and screenshots. The checklist below covers what to prepare so you can fill the form in one go.

  4. Fill in the form carefully

Pick the most specific category the form offers and write the description for the people who browse ExtensionHub (Chrome users and buyers browsing extensions, and developers building a portfolio), not for search engines.

  5. Wait, then check

We couldn’t confirm how listings are reviewed. Once yours is live, check the details and that the link points to the right page.

Tips for ExtensionHub

  • The listing flow starts with 'Sign in with Google' and a developer profile; the add-extension form itself sits behind that sign-in.
  • The sign-in page says 1.6k+ extensions are listed, so search for yours before adding it again.
  • A listing checked on 2026-10-09 showed the developer’s contact email beside the developer name, so check what yours exposes.

From ExtensionHub’s own guidelines and pages, in our words.

What to prepare

The basics every directory asks for, plus what matters most for browser extension directories.

  • Product name and a one-line tagline (about 60 characters)
  • A short description (1–2 sentences) and a longer one (a short paragraph)
  • Square logo, at least 256×256 px, PNG or SVG
  • 2–3 screenshots at a consistent size
  • The exact page you want the link to point to
  • Pricing model (free, freemium or paid) and a contact email
  • Links to each store listing (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, Edge Add-ons)
  • The permissions the extension asks for, and why it needs each one
  • A short GIF or video of the extension working on a real page
  • Your privacy policy URL (the stores already require one)

Is ExtensionHub worth it?

A followed link, with a low bar

The listing link we inspected was followed, but we couldn’t confirm that anyone reviews listings. Directories that accept everyone tend to carry less weight, so treat it as a small plus, not a priority.

  • Domain Rating by Ahrefs: 30 (moderate). That's the strength of links to the whole site, not a promise about what your listing passes on.
  • No Tranco rank on record, so we can’t say how much traffic it gets.
  • We couldn’t find listing prices on their site. Check before you submit.

This verdict is worked out from the facts above with fixed rules (link type, review, price, Domain Rating by Ahrefs, Tranco rank), not paid for. The directory has no say in it.
