Where to submit a Southeast Asian startup: 4 directories
Southeast Asia is a region of very different markets (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand among them) with different languages, regulations and buyers. Regional directories and media are read by investors and corporates who scout across the region, often from Singapore, while country directories help with local customers, press and hiring. Be clear about where you are registered and where you actually operate; many startups incorporate in Singapore and run operations elsewhere, and investors care about both. For a consumer product, local language and local payment methods decide adoption, so mention them. For B2B, list the countries where you have customers today rather than the ones you plan to enter, since profiles here are often checked against news and filings.

Should I list the country of registration or operations?
Both where the form allows. Many Southeast Asian startups are incorporated in Singapore and operate in other countries; investors filter by operations as much as by registration.
