How to use the bulk checker
- Paste your list. Domains or full URLs, one per line or separated by commas. We strip
https://, paths and a leadingwww., and drop duplicates. - Check. Cached domains come straight from our 7-day cache. The rest go to Ahrefs in a single request.
- Sort and export. Sort by highest or lowest DR, A–Z, or the order you entered. Rows without a DR stay at the bottom. Download a CSV to keep with your outreach sheet.
Good uses for a DR list
Shortlisting link targets. You’ve gathered 25 blogs, podcasts or directories that cover your space. DR sorts out the ones with a real link profile from the ones nobody links to, so you know where to start.
Checking a competitor’s link sources. Paste the domains that link to a competitor and see which are strong enough to be worth a pitch.
Picking directories. Many directory lists mix well-linked sites with abandoned ones. Our directory database shows DR, price, review process and whether each directory’s links are followed, checked on each directory’s own site.
Read the numbers with care
Domain Rating is a relative, logarithmic score of a domain’s backlinks, computed by Ahrefs from its own crawl. It isn’t a Google ranking factor and says nothing about traffic, topic or whether a given link is followed. Two sites ten points apart at the top of the scale are much further apart than two sites ten points apart near the bottom. Every value in the table is Domain Rating by Ahrefs. When Ahrefs can’t answer, the table says so. We don’t fill gaps with estimates.
