Pricing page FAQ template
Pricing FAQs answer the questions that stop people from paying: what happens at the limit, can I cancel, will I be charged when the trial ends. Answer plainly, match your actual billing behavior, and update the page whenever billing changes.
Use it for
- Launching a pricing page.
- When support gets the same billing question twice.
- Before changing plans.

Filled example
Fictional example. Paperlark is a fictional product we made up for these examples: an invoice-reminder tool for freelancers that sends polite follow-ups when a client pays late. Names, prices and details are invented to show the template filled in; they aren't a real company or real results.
1. Is there a free plan or trial? Yes. The free plan covers 3 invoices a month, forever. No card needed. 2. What happens when I hit a limit? Reminders for your first 3 invoices keep running. New invoices wait until next month or until you upgrade. We email you when you hit the limit. 3. Can I change plans later? Yes, anytime. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated; downgrades apply at the next billing date. 4. How do I cancel? Settings -> Billing -> Cancel. Two clicks. You keep paid features until the end of the period. 5. Do you offer refunds? Yes, within 14 days of your first payment, no questions asked. 6. Will I be charged when the trial ends? There's no trial on paid plans; you're charged when you upgrade. 7. Do prices include tax? Prices exclude tax; VAT or sales tax is added at checkout where required. 8. Can I get an invoice for my company? Yes. Add your company name and tax ID in Settings -> Billing and every receipt includes them. 9. Do you have discounts? Annual billing gets two months free. 10. What happens to my data if I leave? Export everything as CSV anytime. We delete your data 30 days after you close your account. (Paperlark and these policies are fictional.)
Do
- Match answers to real billing behavior.
- Link the FAQ from checkout.
- Update it when billing changes.
- Mark it up as a FAQ section in HTML.
Don't
- Don't hide cancellation.
- Don't promise refunds your processor setup can't do.
- Don't list discounts you don't offer.
