When we checked product pages at the time of writing (September 2026), the links to makers' websites carried rel="ugc", which Google treats like nofollow.

Can I launch on both?

Yes. Many founders launch on a smaller board first to sharpen the pitch, then go to Product Hunt with a better page and people ready to support it.
